Your Cupcake Day is what you make it. So if it’s a coffee and cake with your workmates, or an elaborate high tea with your family and friends, every dollar you raise will make a difference!

1. Upload a selfie

Wait, what? Yep, it’s true! Fundraising profiles with a photo are seen as more relatable and authentic. And that means more donations! It’ll only take a few seconds, too.

2. Say why you’re fundraising

Is it because you have a pet? You care about animal welfare? You want to make the world a better place?  Say why you’re fundraising and people will want to help you reach your goal.

3. Involve your workplace

Ask your employer for support and match you dollar for dollar. Heaps of employers love seeing their workers give back to the community. Give it a shot!

4. Shout it from the rooftops!

Share your fundraising page on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You can use the hashtag #rspcacupcakeday and share photos of your baking prowess!

5. Be brave and ask

Asking people to support you with a donation isn’t as scary as you may think. Most people are happy to help a good cause, and fighting animal cruelty with delicious treats is as good as it gets! Remember, $20 from five people is already $100 raised!

6. Let your supporters know where their money goes

All money raised during Cupcake Day will go to the RSPCA and the animals in our care. Each year, hundreds of thousands of animals turn to the RSPCA for help, and we rely heavily on the generosity of people like you to continue our vital work.

7. Thank your supporters

Don’t forget to thank all your supporters who have donated to your fundraising page.
