How to bank your funds

With your very own fundraising page, handing over your hard-earned donations to the animals couldn’t be easier. Here are a few simple ways to bank your funds.

1. Collecting online donations

The easiest way to stay on top of your fundraising is by getting your guests to donate directly to your paw-sonal online fundraising page. Set up an iPad or laptop at your event with the page open so family, friends or colleagues just need to make a few easy clicks to help the animals! Or set up a free QR code online with your unqiue fundraising link and share this at your event to generate funds.

If your supporters donate over $2, they’ll automatically receive a tax-deductible receipt.

You could also email your fundraising page link to your Cupcake Day party attendees to get the fundraising started in advance. This way, they can donate beforehand or access the page at the party using their own device.

2. Banking cash donations

If someone donates some cash at the event, you'll just have to bank it onto your fundraising page. We promise it takes no time at all!

  1. Login to your Cupcake Day fundraising page,
  2. Click ‘Bank your funds’ at the top of the page or in your dashboard,
  3. Follow the steps to donate the total amount of cash donations you received via a credit or debit card and keep the cash!
This is the best way to ensure your page reflects the total funds you have raised and helps to quickly and securely deposit the funds to RSPCA.

3. Party

The day has finally arrived - hooray!

Hang up your bunting, lay out your sweets and tell your guests about all the animals they’re helping!

Remind your friends of all the ways they can contribute – by donating online via your fundraising page or by donating some cash on the day.

Time to relax, eat, chat… and eat again!
