Planning an event at work

Colleagues and cupcakes go together like peanut butter and jelly, don’t you think?

We’ve all seen the mad rush to the kitchen when a plate of sweets come out, so throwing a Cupcake Day in the office is bound to cement your status as co-worker of the year.

While the official date falls on Monday 26th October, you can hold your event at any time throughout the month.

If you can’t host your Cupcake Day in person there’s no ‘knead’ to worry – get your workplace crew together online to share a cupcake (or two), to help raise much-needed funds to fight animal cruelty.

Get Started

Begin your Cupcake Day journey by signing up as a host. Think about how you’re going to host your event, online or in the office? Start brainstorming punny ways to share the great news with your work friends!

2. Plan

Hang your posters around the office and send out an all-staff email to let everyone know when your Cupcake Day event will be held. Tell your colleagues why the RSPCA is a cause you’re so passionate about. We’re sure they’ll be as keen as a vanilla bean!

Then the serious stuff begins: what will you bake?!

3. Party

The day has finally arrived! Gather with your work pals online or in the office hang up your bunting, lay out your sweets and tell everyone about all the animals they’re helping!

Make sure to remind your co-workers of all the ways they can contribute – by donating online via your fundraising page or dropping some cash in your pop-up donation box on the day.

Then relax, eat, chat… and eat again!
