In memory of Nacho Cheese...

I am participating in the RSPCA Cupcake Day event to raise money for mistreated, abandoned, and abused animals to get the care, love, and second chance they deserve.

Animals have been the light of my life for as long as I can remember. I love animals in all forms, shapes and sizes, and they have always held such a special place in my heart. I love animals, and I love sugar, it’s the perfect combination of two of my favourite things!!

I’m the very proud mummy of a three-year-old Border Collie, and until recently, I was also the mum of my beautiful cat, Nacho Cheese, who passed away in July. Despite the heartache, it has opened my eyes to the amazing and selfless work of the animal care & veterinary services industry. 

When Nacho passed away, I was left with hundreds of dollars worth of prescription cat food, cat trays, toys, and the cat carrier that I brought home, empty. However, after donating the items to the RSPCA, I was brought comfort in knowing that my boy’s things would be used and appreciated by other animals that needed it. 

Last year, 77,464 animals turned to the RSPCA looking for warmth, care, love and shelter. So, I’m baking and holding a stall to fight animal cruelty and to help give these animals their second chance at happiness and I’d really appreciate your support.
