This year we are taking part in Cupcake Day and sprinkling some kindness into the animal world. I will also be selling cupcakes on 8 September at Macleay Off Leash Dog Park / North Balwyn Cricket Club in Balwyn, 3.00-4.30pm so come down and meet some of our furry friends! Cash is fine, or you can donate to my page on the day to purchase the cupcakes - 100% of proceeds go to animal shelters.
Please support our efforts to provide love, care, shelter, and warmth to innocent animals who have been mistreated or abandoned and are desperately in need of a second chance at life.

Cupcake Day
Monday 19th AugHi everyone,
I’m hosting a Cupcake Day on 8 September, 3.00-4.30pm at the off-leash dog park at Macleay, Balwyn North. Feel free to come down and bring baked goods to share with everyone, or to sell them for a good cause. You’ll also be able to meet lots of my furry friends!
Even if you can’t make it that day, any donations, large or small, will support our efforts and join us to help animals in need.
As some of you may know, this is a cause very dear to me. I’ve rescued and fostered dogs, volunteered at the Lost Dog’s Home for several years, and currently assist with weekly K9 dog squad training at the Victorian German Shepherd Club - so I’ve seen just how much loyalty and unconditional love animals have, regardless of their past. I’ve also worked on the drafting of the newly legislated Animal Welfare laws in Victoria as part of my role at the Victorian Treasury, which addresses more than just animal cruelty but fulfils the Premier’s election promise of recognising the sentience of animals (ALL animals, even though I must admit I’ve clearly got a bit of a bias)!
