Cupcake Day ACT 2024

Help me raise money for other furr baby's just like my boy

Chunky's Story

I still remember the first day I met my boy the first day I brought him home just like it was yesterday he very quickly became my best friend but when chunky was 10 months old we found ourselves homeless I couldn't bear the thought of living on the street with my boy and putting him through that so I reached out to the RSPCA to see how they could help and from there chunky was enrolled into the rainbow paws program where I was able to get his vaccinations up to date get him desexed and a vital health check-up at no cost chunky was also offered two weeks free board at the RSPCA shelter I was so over the moon that my baby was going to have a nice warm safe place to stay while I tried to get us a more suitable home but in these times two weeks was nowhere near enough time to find stable accommodation suitable for the both of us the end of the two weeks accommodation for chunky was fast running out but I was no closer to finding us a home so the RSPCA generously offered chunky another week but that still wasn't enough time and there was not enough funding and lack of space for chunky to stay any longer under the programme so with great pain in my heart and tears in my eyes I was forced to surrender my boy chunky started the assessment process to go up for adoption during this assessment it was found that chunky had developed an intense fear of males due to the violence at home after 6 long hard weeks and amazing work from the team looking after chunky he was finally ready for adoption it was such a happy moment but also an extremely sad moment as it was also time to say my goodbyes to my boy I still miss and love him so much.

This September I'm taking part in Cupcake Day and sprinkling some kindness into the animal world.

Please support me in raising funds to provide love, care, shelter, and warmth to innocent animals who have been mistreated or abandoned and are desperately in need of a second chance at life and in the hope I can help someone else and there furr baby escaping violence like the donations from others before me helped my furr baby.

Please donate, large or small, to support our efforts and join us to help animals in need.

You can make a direct donation to my page or join us on the 27/09/24 for afternoon tea and enjoy some delicious homemade bake goods and refreshments

Bake good packs will be on offer for purchase through my page and at the morning tea
